Entrepreneurship & Innovation

Course Description

This course explores entrepreneurship within the context of an innovation economy. Students will learn skills and processes associated with developing an entrepreneurial mindset such as design thinking, innovative problem-solving, and creativity. Using lean entrepreneurship principles, students will engage in a process to identify a social or economic problem, propose and evaluate possible solutions, and recommend a business model that meets the needs of users in an identified market. Eligibility: ENG 1510 without supports or Corequisite: ENG 1510 with supports. J occasionally; C occasionally; Online occasionally.
