Course Description
Students will study and examine the legal environment of business using the case method in which law is applied to factual situations. In BUS 2530, students study court systems and procedural law, tort and criminal law, constitutional law, and contract law. In BUS 2540, students study the law related to personal property and bailments, real property, secured transactions and bankruptcy, business structure including partnerships and corporations, and the Uniform Commercial Code. Prerequisite/Corequisite: ENG 1510 without supports or Corequisite: ENG 1510 with supports. J fall; C fall.
