Public Speaking

Course Description

Students will learn effective strategies for preparing and delivering engaging and ethical speeches across a variety of speaking contexts. Throughout the course, students will demonstrate key public speaking skills including: supporting points with research, conducting audience analysis, incorporating visual aids, refining delivery style, and employing public speaking competence in both media and non media settings. Eligibility: ENG 1510 without supports or Corequisite: ENG 1510 with supports. J fall, spring; C fall, spring.
