Course Description

Students will study the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software components of a computer. Interior components covered include memory, disk drives, expansion cards, and power supplies. Other common I/O devices and peripherals such as printers and the mouse are studied. Major categories of system software, operating systems, and diagnostic utilities are covered. No requisites. J fall, spring; C spring; Online spring.
