Observ/Guidance/Young/Children

Course Description

Students will develop observational skills as a method of understanding and assessing children's development and behavior. Various methods in recording observations are used by students observing in local early childhood programs. The focus is on children ages 8 and under, but the skills can be applied to any age level. The topic of ethics will be included. No requisites. J occasionally; C occasionally.
