Women in Literature

Course Description

Students will examine literature to analyze the ways in which it represents women's roles and identities throughout history and across cultures. Students will analyze the diversity of women's experiences as both authors of and characters in literary texts, exploring these from feminist and gender studies perspectives. Prerequisite: ENG 1530. J fall, spring; C fall, spring.
