Course Description
Students will develop an understanding of leadership theory, an awareness of the moral and ethical responsibilities of leadership, and an awareness of one's own leadership style and abilities. Students will be given an opportunity to develop essential leadership skills and to understand and practiceproductive leadership behavior. The course will use experiential methods of discussion, film, simulation, and a variety of readings, including some from the humanities. Particularly appropriate for those currently in leadership positions or those wishing to gain skills for leadership roles. Students willdevelop and lead a service-learning project. Prerequisite: ENG 1510. J occasionally; C occasionally.
