Globalize Your Mind II(Travel)

Course Description

Students will study Spanish at the intermediate level via one-on-one or small group instruction with a native Spanish speaking instructor. Students will review the fundamentals of the Spanish language, but special attention is given to the continuing development of students' presentational, interpersonal, and interpretive language skills at the intermediate level. They will explore the social, historical and cultural richness of the Spanish speaking country while living with a native family and engaging with the local community. Through the language instruction, community engagement, cultural excursions, and independent explorations, students will analyze the role they may play and the influence they may have in a diverse world. Prerequisite: SPA 1520 and SPA 2600. J spring; C spring.
