Photo I: Digital Photography

Course Description

Students will be introduced to the theory, practice and history of photography, with emphasis on the production of digital images. Students will learn the basic principles of digital cameras and digital printing and how to use them in the context of the visual language of photography. This is a hands-on studio art course, which will provide students with the necessary tools to understand the conceptual, visual and historical aspects of photography through lectures, presentations, and discussions. No requisites. J occasionally.
