This course provides a base of knowledge of the Inmate Classification program mandated by the New York State Commission of Correction (minimum standard 7013). This course will prepare students to apply this knowledge in the workplace. Prerequisite: student must be a sworn correction officer working in either a county jail or correctional facility.
