Shakespeare

Course Description

Students will be introduced to the work and times of Shakespeare. The play's the thing and will be the main focus of the course, yet films, recordings, and class readings may be used as aids in appreciating and visualizing the plays. Selected comedies, tragedies, romances, and sonnets are read and discussed. Prerequisite: ENG 1530. J occasionally; C occasionally.
