Course Description
Students will learn foundational knowledge needed to perform emergency medical services. Students will learn to provide pre-hospital assessment and care for patients of all ages with a variety of medical conditions and traumatic injuries. Acquisition of foundational knowledge and clinical skills training will prepare students to take the New York State Health Department's certifying exam for Emergency Medical Technicians. Eligibility: ENG 1510 without supports, or corequisite ENG 1510 with supports. J fall, spring.
