Course Description
Students will engage in the study of mathematics for everyday life. This course integrates fluency with numbers, proportional reasoning, percentages, basic algebra, and communicating quantitative information. Applications are emphasized throughout to help students improve their basic quantitative reasoning skills. Students will also learn the value of productive persistence in the learning process. This course prepares students to take MAT 1500 - Problem Solving with Mathematics. This course carries Imputed Credits. No requisites. J fall, spring; C fall, spring.
