Course Description
This course presents an introduction to occupational therapy including history, philosophical base, values, ethics, practice framework and roles and responsibilities of the OT and OTA. Students will be introduced to the development of theories and how they can be used, along with frames of reference and models of practice, to develop interventions. The OT practice framework and terminology associated with the profession will be discussed. Prerequisite/Corequisite: ENG 1510; Prerequisite: Acceptance into the OTA program. J fall.
