Child Development

Course Description

Students will demonstrate an understanding of development from conception to adolescence, including knowledge of research methods, theories, and factual information. They will apply that knowledge to important issues that affect children from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Through a series of exercises, students will improve their ability to observe children and write about what they observe. Prerequisite: ENG 1510. J fall, spring; C fall, spring; Online fall, spring.
